Ep 1: Airline Inn, Vespa Ximending and Taipei 101
Upon arriving in Taiwan, Joanne-Marie checked into Airline Inn. This quaint, themed-hotel opened in 2012. It's convenient location (Ximending) makes it a very good choice for shopaholics and those who want to get a taste of Taipei's famous street foods. With eateries around every corner at all times of the day, one would never go hungry. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and having recently opened, it's furnishings were all in tip-top condition. Although our claustrophobic Joanne-Marie couldn't quite understand the concept of getting out a plane, and then checking into a hotel that looks and feels just like another aeroplane, she did mention that the beds were extremely comfortable, and she had a very good night's rest.
